The Season of the… Sales!

The festive period is a busy one for all.

I have returned home from University and headed straight back to my pre university retail job. Working all hours and thinking only about the money which I will receive in a months time.  Been pushed and shoved  all over the place, as everyone is looking for post Christmas bargains.

I have decided that facing the high street is too much of an ordeal.  I want to shop in peace. I want to browse. I want to find something super special for an even more importantly… super special price.

So, hello… left over Christmas chocs, slippers, PJ’s and Mac Book. Let an evening of  internet shopping commence!

Christmas is nearly here!

It’s mid December and Christmas is nearly here!

Besides having my final university project to complete and a stint of work at my old pre uni job. It looks like I should be having a pretty relaxing Christmas holiday break! Hoorah!

Although, I’m not as excited about Christmas as I once was. I feel like I’m getting slightly more in the Christmas mood as each cold December day passes.

Today I went into town to do my shopping. Buying presents is usually something which I pride myself on. I like to give good gifts, it makes me feel like i’ve achieved something, make some ones day a little bit brighter.

But the Christmas rush is definitely in full swing! And finding good presents is difficult. I hope I did a good job.

Driving round for nearly an hour for a car parking space- Check.

Waiting 30 minutes for a coffee- Check.

Miserable shop assistants- Definitely a check!
